The number of designers that you choose to work with is up to you and can range from 1-10.  Most businesses choose to work with 2-3 independent designers.  These designers will each dedicate substantial time and energy to researching your company and working with you directly to understand your goals.  Keep in mind that this is in vast contract to “design contest” websites or other design firms online.

Design contests may advertise 15 or even 100 designers working on your project – however, these designers never speak with you directly and never spend time to learn about your business.  Most of these designers will spend 5-10 minutes to whip up a design with little thought or effort.

Other design firms may advertise 3-5 designers working on your project, but these are all designers working under the same roof.  The designers frequently report to the same manager, and you’ll never have a chance to speak with them individually or receive the benefits of truly working with multiple independent designers.
